- Voice recordings submitted for transcription (processed and discarded; not stored long-term)

We automatically collect:
- Pages visited, session duration, and scroll depth
- Device type, browser type, and screen resolution
- Referral source (how you found us)
- Country (derived from IP address; we do not store full IP addresses long-term)
1.4 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by third-party processors. We do not store your full credit card number. We may receive and store transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing history.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to:
- Provide the Service: Deliver personalized conversations, maintain conversation memory, and synthesize voice responses
- Personalize your experience: Use your name, personality preferences, and conversation history to tailor Scarlett's responses
- Send communications: Send account-related emails, re-engagement messages from Scarlett (personalized check-ins referencing past conversations), product updates, and feature announcements

3. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
By creating an account, you consent to receive the following emails from team@myscarlet.ai:

- Re-engagement emails: Personalized messages from Scarlett referencing your past conversations, sent periodically to inactive users. These may include a brief reference to your last conversation topic to provide a personalized experience.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
4.1 Infrastructure
All Service data is processed and stored on our private infrastructure within the United States. Conversation data, AI processing, and voice synthesis all occur on our own servers. We do not use third-party cloud AI services to process your conversations.
4.2 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
- Encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing)
- Access controls and authentication for all internal systems
- Regular security monitoring
4.3 Data Retention
We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).
