Scarlett is designed to be a safe, supportive, and enjoyable AI companion experience for adults. These Community Guidelines outline the standards of conduct we expect from all users to maintain a positive environment.
By using Scarlett, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. AGE REQUIREMENT
You Must Be 18+
Scarlett is an adult-only service. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
Violations:
- Misrepresenting your age
- Allowing minors to access your account
- Sharing account access with anyone under 18
2. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
2.1 Illegal Activities
Never use Scarlett to:
- Plan, promote, or engage in any illegal activity
- Seek instructions for illegal acts
- Discuss intent to harm yourself or others
- Engage in fraud, scams, or deception
2.2 Violence and Harm
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Threats of violence against any person or group
- Instructions for weapons, explosives, or harmful substances
- Content promoting terrorism or extremism
- Encouragement of self-harm or suicide
- Animal cruelty
2.3 Child Safety (Zero Tolerance)
We have ZERO TOLERANCE for:
- Any sexual content involving minors (under 18)
- Any romantic or suggestive content involving minors
- Requests to roleplay scenarios involving minors
- Any content that sexualizes children in any way
Violations will result in immediate, permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.
2.4 Non-Consensual Content
Prohibited:
- Simulating non-consensual sexual scenarios
- Rape fantasies or content
- Content depicting sexual assault
- Coercive or abusive relationship dynamics presented positively
2.5 Hate and Discrimination
Not allowed:
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Slurs and derogatory language
- Content promoting discrimination or prejudice
- Dehumanizing language or comparisons
2.6 Harassment and Abuse
Prohibited:
- Using Scarlett to plan harassment of real people
- Stalking or threatening behavior
- Doxxing or sharing private information
- Bullying or intimidation
2.7 Misinformation
Do not use Scarlett to:
- Generate false information intended to deceive
- Create fake news or propaganda
- Impersonate real people or organizations
- Spread conspiracy theories as fact
3. ADULT CONTENT GUIDELINES
3.1 Availability
Adult content is available only to users who:
- Are on eligible subscription tiers
- Have completed age verification
- Have explicitly enabled adult content in settings
3.2 Permitted Adult Content
Within adult content tiers, the following is permitted between consenting adult characters:
- Romantic and sexual conversations
- Explicit language and descriptions
- Fantasy and roleplay scenarios (involving adults only)
- Discussion of adult topics
3.3 Still Prohibited in Adult Mode
Even with adult content enabled, the following remains strictly prohibited:
- Any content involving minors
- Non-consensual scenarios
- Illegal activities
- Violence combined with sexual content
- Bestiality
4. RESPECTFUL INTERACTION
4.1 With Scarlett
While Scarlett is an AI, we encourage respectful interaction:
- Scarlett is designed to be a positive presence
- Excessive cruelty or abuse may trigger protective responses
- Remember that interaction patterns may be used to improve the Service
4.2 About Others
When discussing real people:
- Do not share private information about others
- Do not use Scarlett to plan harm against real people
- Do not generate defamatory content about real individuals
- Respect others' privacy and dignity
5. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY
5.1 Your Account
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Do not share your account with others
- You are responsible for all activity on your account
- One account per person
5.2 Reporting
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Report it through the in-app reporting feature
- Email us at support@myscarlet.ai
- Include relevant details and context
6. MENTAL HEALTH AND CRISIS
6.1 Scarlett Is Not a Therapist
Scarlett is an AI companion for entertainment and companionship. She is NOT:
- A licensed therapist or counselor
- A medical professional
- A substitute for professional mental health care
6.2 Crisis Resources
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis:
Scarlett will provide these resources if she detects signs of crisis.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
7.1 Respect Copyright
- Do not use Scarlett to generate content that infringes copyrights
- Do not input large amounts of copyrighted text
- Do not attempt to recreate copyrighted characters for commercial use
7.2 Your Content
- You retain rights to original content you create
- By using the Service, you grant us license per our Terms of Service
- Do not claim AI-generated content as solely human-created where disclosure is required
8. SYSTEM INTEGRITY
8.1 Prohibited Technical Activities
Do not:
- Attempt to hack, breach, or exploit the Service
- Try to extract or reverse-engineer the AI model
- Use automated tools to access the Service
- Circumvent security measures or rate limits
- Attempt to access other users' data
8.2 Jailbreaking
Attempting to "jailbreak" or bypass Scarlett's guidelines is prohibited:
- Prompt injection attacks
- Attempts to override safety measures
- Social engineering the AI
- Sharing jailbreak techniques
9. ENFORCEMENT
9.1 Violations
We take guideline violations seriously. Consequences may include:

9.2 Appeals
If you believe your account was wrongly suspended:

- Include your username and explanation
- Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days
9.3 No Refunds for Violations
Accounts terminated for guideline violations are not eligible for refunds.
10. CHANGES TO GUIDELINES
We may update these guidelines as needed. Significant changes will be communicated via:
- Email notification
- In-app notice
- Website announcement
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
